Crispy fish teriyaki

Teriyaki sauce is the one for people who want their fish to taste tangy or salty sweet. We are giving the touch of crisp to our fish.


Ingredients (Serves 2 people)

2 pieces salmon or any fish you like

1 tsp ground black pepper

40 ml soy sauce

40 ml water

1 tsp honey or brown sugar

1 spoon corn starch or all flour

1 tsp garlic powder

breadcrumbs

1 tsp white sesame seeds


Ingredients for egg fried rice (Serves 2 people)

2 spoon soy sauce

2 eggs

1 onion diced

1 cup cooked rice

1 cup carrots diced

1 spoon vegetable oil

1 tsp ground black pepper

spring onions chopped for decoration(optional)


Method(to make fish teriyaki)


1. To a cup, add water, soy sauce, garlic powder, ground black pepper, sesame, honey, corn starch/all flour and whisk it.

2. Take the salmon add it to a container. Pour half of the above sauce to salmon and ensure its all well combined. Marinate atleast for 10 minutes.

3. Add breadcrumbs to a plate, take the salmon and coat with the breadcrumbs and place it on the baking container. This gives us the crispness.

4. Preheat the oven for 220 degree celsius and place the salmon in for 20 minutes. Give it a flip in between. The crispy salmon teriyaki is ready.





Method(to make egg fried rice)

  1. To a pan, add vegetable oil and break the eggs. Add ground black pepper, pinch of salt and make it like scrambled eggs. Once done, shift it to a plate.

  2. To the same pan, add vegetable oil and add onions, carrots. Saute it well until its almost cooked. You can add black pepper and pinch of salt if you like.

  3. Add the cooked rice, 1 tsp of teriyaki sauce and the scrambled eggs to the pan and mix it well. Cook it for 2 minutes and transfer to a plate.

  4. Add spring onions/coriander/fried onions on the top, its completely optional. To the fish, add the remaining sauce on top. Enjoy the fried rice and the fish teriyaki.
