A pudding-like dessert which makes me sing like my panna cotta don’t want none unless you have got buns, hun :P

Traditionally, only the cream is boiled and reduced, hence the name. But in our recipe, we don’t boil the milk but use gelatine with condensed milk and a little sugar.

Ingredients(Serving: 4 cups)

300 ml milk of your choice

150 ml condensed milk of your choice

50 gms fresh strawberries

4 to 5 spoons/1 cup of sugar

2 spoons gelatine

Method

  1. To a small cup, add 10 ml water and add 1 spoon of gelatine mix it and place it aside for 5 minutes.

  2. To a pot on the stove, add milk, condensed milk, and 3 spoons of sugar. Stir until it is heated enough but not to boil them.

  3. Add the gelatine mixed in water to the pot and give it a good mix.

  4. Add milk from the pot to the cups where you would like to serve in the end.

  5. Refrigerate them for overnight or for 3 hours.

For the topping:

  1. Chop the strawberries and add to a pot on the stove with 10 ml of water. Add the remaining sugar to it and cook for 5 minutes.

  2. Blend the strawberries and filter the pulp using a sieve or strainer.

  3. (Optional) Add 1 spoon of gelatine to the strawberry juice and mix it while on the stove at low flame to get the pudding-like texture for strawberry as well.

  4. Add the filtered strawberry juice to the cup of milk which was refrigerated and let it cool and enjoy it as your dessert.
